2024 Nov #3: Berlin Mitte

Spent some time walking around the Mitte kietz, where most of the famous landmarks & monuments are. The Spree river cuts through the center of town, there's an island where most of the famous museums sit. At the upstream end is the Bode-museum. Also on the island is the Berlin Cathedral (with the DDR's TV tower in the background):

On the way home that evening we discovered a very nice local kneipe, Die Leuchtturm, on Crelle Straße near CrellePlatz (in the best-of list):
