2024 August #2: Together in San Francisco

With most logistics worked out, we headed out for San Francisco. The plan: together for three days, then Leslie leaves for Sacramento to see her 'rents and Brooklyn to see Adrienne while I remain and volunteer with the Burner Express Bus and then take it to Burning Man. After all that, we meet in Deutschland.

So to SF. First stop: city hall to record the deed to transfer the Broadway postage stamp into the trust (yes it is about time we set up a family trust):

Checked into our AirBnB in the heart of the mission: Treat, 1/2 block from 24th, between Folsom & Harrison.

Day 3: the day of lunch in Woodside at Alan and Ellen's (d'oh no pictures) and the espresso maker adventure. I may have mentioned in an earlier post that shortly before moving out, the dishwasher ceased to function. [I did dishes by hand for 6 weeks]. We had to replace it. But there was a silver lining: Miele was offering a free espresso maker.
