2025 April 14-17: Agerola, Positano

14thAM AllTrails hike into the woods behind San Lazzaro:

15th stuck around San Lazzaro. Hike to Castello Lauritano, which is at the end of a promentory from which it is literally straight down 650m (2000') to the sea. I've shown pictures from there before, we have gone there a few times because it is ... so ... astonishing:

16th it was off on the scooter to Positano, 20km away on the road, 6 or 7 as the crow flies, 1 hour away because of the steep, narrow, hairpins. With Amalfi, it is one of the well-known towns along the coast. Spent a few hours there:

..until it started threatening to rain. Jammed back, being pelted by large raindrops intermittently. Along the way we passed these die-hards:

17th rain, stayed home ‘til late afternoon, ‘til we took a short hike out the back of San Lazzaro:
