2025 Dec 31-Jan 4: Buenos Aires

Dec 31 - Walked out to Belgrano, a Barrio on the west side of Buenos Aires, adjacent to Palermo. Pretty nice; a bit more well-kept than most of Palermo. There's a big park, Barrancas del Belgrano:

Took the metro back to our neighborhood & had lunch at Rita Specialty Coffee, which we'd passed several times and was always crowded:

Jan 1 - Retiro is a nicer barrio essentially at the northeast corner of Buenos Aires:

The next barrio to the south from there is San Nicolás:

Went out to Tigre and took a boat tour in a small hard-bottom inflatable with our new friends Richard and Patricia LaFace, who we met at a cafe several days back. Our guide was a guy called Etienne, Instagram et.deltaguide. It was a highlight of the Buenos Aires segment:

Jan 3 - Last full day, strolled Palermo:

Dinner at Artemesia, one of the best meals in Buenos Aires, shoulda started going there weeks ago:

Jan 4 - Last breakfast at favorite cafe Vive (1st shot is actually walk-by the previous evening around sunset):
