2025 Feb 15,16: Mimoza Festival

This time of year is the Mimoza festival. Turns out Mimoza translates to acacia; the festival celebrates its blooming.

Took a taxi to Djenovici, where there is a high-end resort & marina: the Portonovi:

Short walk from there on the shoreline promenade to Baošići, the center of the festival daytime activities. The usual food & live music, plus acacia blossoms:

It was a cool, partly cloudy day; you could see snow atop the distant mountains.

Taxi back to Herceg Novi, then out on foot to the Institute Simo Milošević in Igalo, for the flower exhibition. The 56th annual, as you can see:

Bought marmalade & my favorite fruit: the humble kumquat.
