Thu Jan 30; lunch & Tamil Prince, another Sarah/Ollie recommendation, and a play: Wicked.
The walk over. Belize Park:
Haverstock:
Kentish Town & Caledonian:
…and the Tamil Prince, in Islington. Excellent South Indian:
Reservations for Wicked, the play, at the Apollo Victoria. Ben running 15 years. Great show, ‘modern classic’, but honestly Hadestown had more punch.
The walk over - EV charger in Barnsbury (a relatively new phenomenon):
Spittalfields. Wentworth Street has a lot of little textile shops:
The adjacent district, Cornhill, seems like the modern financial district, home of high-rises with names: The Gherkin, The Scalpel. This is Leadenhall & Lime Roads:
The engine pistons-esque building is the Lloyd’s building (1986), the bar is The Counting House, the building with columns is the Royal Exchange:
St Mary Le Bow church:
St Michael’s, alley & church. Remember the Palo Alto restaurant?
Leadenhall Market:

And finally, the Apollo Victoria theater. It’s beautiful inside, holds 2000+ people. Didn’t get any good interior shots, dang:

Lots of walking: 8.4 miles.
