2025 Jan #5: Kilburn, Willesden

Southwest from the flat today, on foot again.

1st order of business: semi-annual haircut for Doug. David recommended this guy ‘Gas’ in Kilburn on Glengall Rd, a short jaunt:

Couple blocks up the Kilburn High Rd:

Then westward on Willesden Lane toward Willesden. Stopped by the old Paddington Cemetary:

Stopped for lunch of fish & chips and ravioli at The Kilburn Arms:

Coming in to Willesden Village (a bit gritty as it turns out):

Took a bus back to Kilburn. Our first; same as the underground: you just tap your atm or credit card and ride:

Back in Kilburn, opposite the high road from the flat, is Lonsdale Road. A Primary School and several up-scale, trendy establishments. Gonna come back at mealtime:

Then some nice, well-kept streets (and back to Glengall Rd):

Couple phone calls, shopping at WaitRose, dinner & done.

Total walking: 5.3 miles.
