Left Herceg Novi. Bus to Podgorica:

Flew through Belgrade & Rome to Palermo, Sicily, Italy. Arrived midnight, checked into our AirBNB in the old city:

Thurs Mar 13, a poke around. The apartment:

The neighborhood. We’re right next to Mercato del Capo, one of the 1/2 dozen or so open street markets in the city:

Palermo is a deep water port; room for a few cruise ships. Also a marina:

Near the harbor, one of many old family palazzos turned park, the Giardino Garibaldi:

Along Via Vittorio Emanuele, one of the main business streets:

The Palermo Cathedral, Villa Bonanno, Porta Nuova:
