Nai’a is my dear friends Alan & Ellen’s 1986 Wauquiez Centurion 47; a true ocean-going yacht.

This is Nai’a’s journey from her home of the past 23 years: the San Francisco Marina, to Point Roberts, Washington, outside of Vancouver BC, where she will spend Winter 2022.
Part I: SF to Spud Point Marina, Bodega Bay.
So long SF..
Leslie and I accompanied Alan, Ellen and Cliff on a day-long jaunt to check out Nai’a’s new systems, get a head start, and have some fun..
After dinner at the St Francis & overnight aboard Sat night, up and off before the crack of dawn Sun AM..
.. and out the Golden Gate. .
No wind and calm seas; motored the whole way..
Secured Nai’a, had oysters & fish tacos at the dockside eatery, and headed home.
Part II commences next Sat, Oct 1.
