2024 Nov #1: Kreuzberg

Afternoon outing to Kreuzberg, through Victoriapark, which is a beautiful big park, to Bergmannstraße, one of our favorites, several blocks of cafes, bars, interesting local color.

At the other end of Bergmannstraße is a cemetery (btw cemeteries dot Berlin; they’re well-kept and people stroll through them like they would a park), and in that cemetery is this fantastic brick cafe ‘Cafe Strauss’.

Then we went to a movie. In the lobby was a video running that capture my attention. They’ll license you a gif or whatever, you can run it as your screensaver. Thinking about it (but it’s over my online purchase budget of $0.00):

Then, at our local S-Bahn station (Friedenau), there’s a cute indoor/outdoor kneipe that is closing/remodeling/reopening, & they were having a goodbye party.
