2025 Feb #10: Holland Park, Ember Locke, David & Wendy

Mon Feb 10: we had left David & Wendy’s yesterday & checked into the Ember Locke hotel in South Kensington. It’s great - luxurious, friendly helpful staff but inexpensive! Glass-covered reading/cafe/dining room overlooking a big garden (common in London: apartment buildings surrounding a shared garden), off the lobby:

Slept in, lunch at a very good sichuan restaurant nearby (it’s new years), then took a long stroll through Holland Park:

And back out to West Hampstead for dinner with David & Wendy. Discussed our adventures & future possible house swaps:
