2025 Feb #3: Tate

We took a tour @ 11am, then went out for lunch, then took another tour at 3pm. The Tate lived up to its rep.

It’s near Westminster, home of the Abbey and Houses of Parliament. Sunset walk back to the tube, along the Thames…which, btw, was low & flowing west-to-east, confirming for me that it’s a tidal estuary.

Tube back to West Hampstead, walked into Kilburn to look for a restaurant we’d seen several days prior: Don’t Tell Dad. It was closed again, but a brewery down the street was open: The Wolfpack. This is on Lonsdale Road, a very different road from the surroundings…shabby chic, recommended:
