Saturday Jan 11:
Spent our first afternoon (I slept ‘til 11!) strolling the north-east quadrant of our immediate neighborhood. We’re in West Hampstead; walked to Hampstead, then skirted Hampstead Heath, a large open space.
Quite a nice neighborhood, gets nicer as you move toward Hampstead Heath. I crossed paths with Helena Bonham-Carter on the sidewalk at Whitestone Pond.
Sun set, home for a quick nap, dinner at The Black Lion, an old English pub that serves Indian food:
