Reserved an Airbnb on the west coast of the island, between Ucluelet and Tofino. Takes a day to get there; today is that day.

Early departure from Sidney..

An interesting spot along the way was...there were two interesting...there were three...

among some interesting spots along the way was the Malahat Skywalk..

You walk up the ramp, and slide down the slide. Pretty wild.

Next, I stopped for lunch in Nanaimo, on the island's east coast, a bit north..

Then, a bit further north and inland, the town of Coombs. Surprising..

From there, it's due west across the island, through and over some pretty rough and beautiful terrain..

..to the west coast. Checked in to my trailer and went to Ucluelet for the sunset. Astonishing, gives Monterey/Carmel a run for its money..

Back for poke for dinner and that is all. Full day.
